(02/17/17)- In a game heard last night on WXBC, the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers wrapped their regular season with a 74-57 win at Whitesville Trinity for a second straight win and eighth in their last nine. The Tigers face Meade County in the district tournament Tuesday (02/21) night at Hancock County. In other boys baskettball from the area last night, the Greenwaves lost to Central Hardin, 47-35 and Ohio County topped Madisonville, 56-52.
In girls basketball, the Breckinridge County Lady Tigers lost to Owensboro Catholic, 67-60. They wrap up the regular season tonight at Ohio County. WXBC’s coverage begins around 6:45 with tipoff set for 7.
