(08/26/16)- The Breckinridge County Fighting Tiger football team is back in action tonight at home against Todd County Central. WXBC’s coverage begins around 6:30 with kickoff at Tiger Stadium at 7. A reminder that tonight is also the second of the player reunion events, with players from the 1980’s through 1990 invited to attend.
In high school volleyball, the Lady Tigers five-match win streak was snapped in a two-set ((18-25, 25-27) loss to North Hardin while the Cloverport Lady Aces defeated Webster County in two sets (25-17, 28-26) on Thursday (08/25).
BCHS Boys Golf defeated Apollo and Butler County Thursday (08/25) night at Butler County. The Tigers shot a 183 with Butler County shooting a 190 and Apollo a 205. Breckinridge County was led by Will Bland with a four over par 40. Weston Glasscock followed with a 43, Lincoln Smith with a 50, and Tyler Greenwell with a 50. The Tigers improves to 3-4 on the season. The Lady Tigers defeated Butler County Thursday, with Paige Pollock as the match medalist with a 45.
