IU Trustees Approve Football Stadium Work

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — The board of trustees at Indiana University has approved a $53 million plan to enclose part of Memorial Stadium. The enclosure of the football stadium’s south end is part of a larger push to make capital improvements. The Indianapolis Star reports the upgrade will add over 66,000 gross square feet of facility space to the stadium, though it’s not expected to significantly change seating capacity.
