Cavs Push NBA Finals To Game Seven

UNDATED (AP) — The Cleveland Cavaliers have pushed the NBA Finals to a deciding seventh game. By winning the last two games in the series, including last night’s 115-101 victory, the Cavs have tied the Warriors at three wins apiece. The final game will take place Sunday night in Oakland.

Once again the Cavaliers were led by LeBron James, who for the second straight game had 41 points.

By the end of the game in Cleveland the defending champion Warriors looked disheveled as MVP Stephen (STEH’-fehn) Curry fouled out with around four minutes left. Frustrated, the sharp-shooting guard tossed his mouthpiece and hit a fan. To his credit he made a point to shake the fan’s hand and apologize before being escorted off the court.

No team has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit to win the NBA championship. The Cleveland Cavaliers have a chance to make history Sunday night when they face the Warriors in the final game of the 2015-16 season. For championship-starved Cleveland fans, a win would make for a nice Father’s Day present.
